Zilker Park Footbridge

The footbridge in Zilker Park allows pedestrians and bicyclists to cross Barton Creek
just upstream of its mouth at the Colorado River in Austin.

It, like the concept of Transition, offers people a way to cross over a chasm to the other side,
without the need for petroleum and without the pollution that is degrading our global climate.
